Our half day experiences begin with a brief safety talk. Then it’s gloves on as you take a Hawk for a walk through some stunning woodland in the grounds of Herstmonceux Castle.
These bird’s will fly to you time and time again, and you will witness some breathtaking flights through some of the tightest of gaps!!
Then, it will be time to slow things down as you experience slow, silent flights from an owl to your gloved hand. These creatures really do amaze!
Last of all for the half day experience, you may encounter the speed and agility of one of our Falcons, whether it be a stunning stoop to the lure or a hovering kestrel above your head something truly exhilarating to end your experience.Or you could be flying our Kites, together!! this always amazes people.Or our Vulture could make a grand appearance..
Throughout you time with us, Gerard (Head Falconer) will be feeding you interesting facts along the way about the raptors you are flying to make this a truly, memorable experience.

Our experiences run throughout the year!. Not in a busy centre, in the stunning grounds of Herstmonceux Castle. You will not be part of a large group, maximum four participants on any one day. You will be guided by falconer’s Gerard or Gemma not a volunteer. So come and fly our private collection of raptor’s. Learning along the way about Owls, Hawks, Falcon’s and other wildlife as you go on an experience like no other!
These make the perfect gift or treat yourself. Vouchers are valid for twelve months from purchase. The voucher holder just contacts us with a suitable date and we will book their experience. Vouchers arrive by post, and make great gifts!
